Continued Inspiration
One aspect of mastering that keeps the job from getting stale is the wide variety of records that come in. I am truly excited to hear new music and the fact that it’s built into my workday is incredible. Every recording is approached with an open mind and creative attitude. My experience helps me to decide if a song needs nearly no adjustments at all, or if I should go heavy and see what happens. It’s an entertaining and rewarding puzzle either way.
